run romy, run
It’s been an okay weekend. Yesterday was probably the best day (even though it was damn cold) because I actually got outside. I ended up going to the park with my cousin and a bunch of our friends and we just played around for like 2+ hours. We played some doubles tennis first…and holy shit I’m rusty. Not that I was Serena Williams before, but at least I could volley back and forth. Now I have this retarded half-baseball swing I’m going to need to work on. It was fun anyway, though. Then we started a game of full court basketball. Usually, I loathe full court. It requires too much fucking running. Today was great though, because I could run…and I just kept running. Damn that feels smooth. All my smoker friends were fucking hacking it up while R. and I blew past them for breakaways. Natch. Basketball with my friends is a hazardous sport, though. Last weekend I got elbowed hard right in the clavicle on my neck, which still hurts today. This time my friend T. fucking knocked me down in the middle of a lay-up and I did a face plant into the concrete. Luckily I wasn’t hurt. Score the bucket.
As far as eating goes, I’ve been fine. I’m realizing that I’m getting a little lazy with finding points for everything and writing them down, though. I’m keeping track, but it’s a half-assed kind of “in my head” deal. I’m going to try and work on that this week. It was a royal pain in the ass to write down every little scrap I eat, but obviously that’s what’s needed at this point.
Also, can Weight Watchers stop it with the fatty little hard pieces in all of their chicken Smart Ones meals? I literally can’t eat them anymore because I always seem to get a mutated piece of chicken in mine, and it makes me want to ralph. Why does Easy Mac have to be like 8 points for ONE serving? God hates me, seriously.
WI tomorrow, the fun never ends.
