the great bloat is over
I hate this losing an hour of daylight bullshit. By the time I get home from work, it’s practically dark, which puts a damper on my exercising schedule. I think I might have to finally choose a new gym. I’m leaning toward the YMCA mostly because it has the best facilities for the price, but I don’t really feel like driving into downtown Boston after work. So I dunno. I feel like the government should be giving us all gym vouchers. They’re always bitching about America getting fatter, right? Gyms are like legal robbery, it’s totally ridiculous. I thought about waking up earlier and going jogging before work, but that idea lasted about 4 seconds before I remembered that nothing in this world can motivate me to wake up before I absolutely have to. Then again, a fat ass is great motivation.
The Halloween candy thing hasn’t been as difficult as I thought it would be, mostly because my mom ended up buying shitty candy. Nothing really chocolaty, so I think I’m out of the woods.
I lost 3 pounds according to my scale this morning, which might be a direct result of the end of the crimson wave, so I’m not overly excited. It might also be the fact that I’m working at erasing a deficit right now, rather than making new progress. I guess downward movement is better than the scale going up.
