god, i wish i had your discipline
I went jogging for an hour yesterday. My legs are tired today, but it feels good. Wake up, bitches, it’s back on track for us. The whole darkness at 5pm thing really sucks, but luckily I found a spot that’s partially lit. Plus I figure pursuing fitness is well worth the risk of getting stabbed in the neck.
I bought some healthy food at the grocery store last night. I can see why America is obese. Candy bars were 3 for $1, and pomegranates are $1.49 each. Jumbo tub of cheese puffs: $1.99, bag of apples: $3.82. Full fat burritos (5 flavors): 3 for $1, 2 organic vegetarian burritos: $2.99. I might have to start switching prices. Anyway, having good food to eat in the house is half the battle, so I’m good on that front.
This douchebag woman at work got gastric bypass a few months back, and she finally came back to work. I don’t really work with her, but we work in the same office building. She was always an annoying slut (Think: Nina from Office Space, but with a more irritating voice), but now she’s gotten like ten times worse. She thinks she’s the authority on weight loss now, and told me that “I’d get there eventually.” Eventually is right, bitch, because I didn’t get my stomach stapled and drop 60 pounds in 2 months. I honestly don’t give a shit if it’s politically correct or not, but getting your stomach stapled is not some heroic weight loss battle. It might be difficult, but there’s no way in hell it’s harder than doing it all by yourself.
Rehab continues.
